The short version
- Our iOS apps run on-device. Your photos, notes, vaults, and personal data never leave your phone.
- This website uses privacy-respecting analytics — no third-party trackers, no advertising IDs, no cross-site profiling.
- We collect only what we need to operate the service, and we never sell your data.
1. Who we are
DevsApp ("we", "our") operates the apps and website at devsapp.app. The data controller is DevsApp. Reach us at info@devsapp.app for any privacy question or data request.
2. Data the apps collect
Each app declares its data practices on its App Store page under "App Privacy". In summary:
- Photos / files / vault contents processed by our apps stay on your device. We do not upload them.
- No advertising IDs, no third-party SDKs that track across apps.
- Some apps use iCloud sync (your iCloud, your control) — encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We never see the contents.
- Crash logs are sent to Apple via standard iOS reporting (only if you've opted in via iOS settings).
3. Data this website collects
When you visit devsapp.app we record minimal first-party analytics:
- The page you visited and the page that referred you
- The URL parameters used to find us (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign)
- A daily-rotating, non-reversible visitor hash (so we can count unique visits without identifying you)
- Coarse browser, OS, and device class — no IP address is stored
No cookies are set for analytics. The hash includes the date, so it cannot be
used to track a person across days. We honor navigator.doNotTrack
and Global Privacy Control — if either is set, no analytics events are recorded.
4. Contact form data
If you submit our contact form, we store your name, email, optional app selection, and message in our database. We use this only to reply. We do not add you to any newsletter or marketing list. You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@devsapp.app.
5. Mac app purchases
Paid Mac apps are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects the data needed to process the payment and issue a tax-compliant invoice (name, email, billing country, payment method). We receive the order confirmation, your email, and the license details — never your full payment instrument. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies
We do not use third-party cookies. The only cookie we set is a session cookie
named devsapp_admin for our admin login — it never appears for
public visitors.
7. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Limited disclosures may happen to:
- Service providers (e.g. our hosting provider) bound by data-protection terms
- Paddle for payment processing on Mac purchases
- Authorities, when required by valid legal process
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. Email info@devsapp.app with the request and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Data retention
Contact-form messages are retained for 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics events are retained for 13 months in aggregate form. Mac purchase records are kept for 7 years per tax-record requirements.
10. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will also be announced via the homepage.
