THE STUDIO

About

A small studio shipping native iOS apps that respect your time, your privacy, and your battery.

Last updated · June 25, 2026

Software, smaller and kinder.

DevsApp is an indie studio that builds focused, native iOS apps — the kind of tools you keep on your Home Screen for years, not the kind you delete after a week of nag screens.

Why we exist

Most apps these days are loud. They want your attention, your contacts, your location, your subscription. Then they bury the feature you actually came for behind three "rate us" prompts and a hard paywall.

We started DevsApp because we wanted to use apps that don't do that. Tools that open fast, do one thing well, and stay out of the way. Each app on this page started as a personal itch — and shipped only after feeling good enough to keep on our own iPhones.

What we believe

🆓
Free by default Every iOS app DevsApp ships is free on the App Store. Some have optional IAPs; the core experience never paywalls.
🛡
No tracking No SDKs from Meta, Google, AppsFlyer, or anyone else. We don't know who you are and we don't want to.
🚫
No ads, ever Advertising warps incentives. We'd rather not ship than ship something that nags you.
📱
Native, not webview Every app is Swift & SwiftUI. Faster, more efficient, smaller binaries — and it actually feels like iOS.
🧠
On-device AI Where we use AI (QuickClean, future apps), it runs on your device. Your photos never leave your phone.

Real replies Every email to info@devsapp.app gets a real reply from a real human — usually within a day.

How we build

Apps are written from scratch in Swift and SwiftUI on Apple's modern stack — nothing dragged across from a web framework or cross-platform toolkit. That means fewer bugs, smaller installs, and apps that take advantage of the platform features they should: Widgets, Live Activities, Lock Screen, Focus, Shortcuts, App Intents, and on-device intelligence.

  • Swift · the language
  • SwiftUI · the UI layer
  • SwiftData · local persistence
  • CloudKit · sync (when an app needs it)
  • Apple Intelligence · on-device ML
  • App Intents · Siri & Shortcuts

How we got here

DevsApp started as a single weekend project — a clipboard manager that actually remembered every snippet without asking for a subscription. The next week brought a system monitor. Then a password vault. Then a photo cleaner. None of them were trying to be a business. They were trying to be useful.

A few months in, the catalog had grown to seven shipped apps, all free, all native, all built on the same principles. That's when "DevsApp" stopped being a folder of side projects and became a studio.

Privacy, in detail

"We respect your privacy" is the most overused phrase in software. Here's what it actually means at DevsApp:

  • What we DO collect Only what you explicitly send: a support email, a contact-form message, or App Store crash reports (if you opt in via iOS Settings).
  • What we DON'T collect Your name, location, contacts, photos, browsing, ad ID, device fingerprint, or anything else. There's no analytics SDK from Facebook, Google, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or AppsFlyer in any of our apps.
  • Where on-device AI runs Where we use machine learning — QuickClean's duplicate detection, future features — the model runs entirely on your iPhone. Photos and personal data never leave the device.
  • Sync & backup Apps that sync (Money Log, PassSafe+) use Apple's CloudKit, which encrypts data end-to-end with your iCloud account. We don't operate any custom servers that hold your personal data.
  • Account & email You don't need an account to use any of our apps. If you create an account on this website to leave comments, that email is used only to identify you here — never marketed, never sold.
  • Full policy The legally-binding version is at /privacy/. It says the same things, in more careful language.

Frequently asked

Is everything really free?
Yes. Every iOS app on the App Store under DevsApp is free to download and use. A few apps (QuickClean, CopyClip) have optional in-app purchases for power features, but the core app is fully usable without paying anything.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't embed ad SDKs, analytics SDKs from Facebook/Google, or any third-party tracker. The only data leaving your device is what you explicitly send us (e.g. a support email) or what Apple's App Store handles directly.
Why iOS first?
We build native iOS apps because that's the platform we know best, and because native always feels better than a cross-platform wrapper. Some apps (Money Log, SendMan) also run on macOS via Apple Silicon, and Money Log has an Android build too.
How do you sustain the studio if everything is free?
Optional in-app purchases on a small subset of apps cover hosting and development. A few upcoming Mac apps will be one-time paid purchases. We don't take VC money, we don't run ads, and we don't sell data.
Can I request a feature?
Yes — every email gets read. Email info@devsapp.app or use the contact form on the homepage. We can't build everything, but good ideas have a real chance.
How fast do you reply to support?
Usually within 24 hours, often within a few hours. A real person reads every message — no canned auto-responder loops.
Where can I follow what you're building?
The homepage always lists what's live and what's in development. Each app page also shows the latest version and changelog as it ships.
Are your apps open source?
Not yet. We may open-source select components in the future. The apps themselves are built end-to-end in-house.
